My son and I went riding here and had a blast! Chet was our guide and what a sweetheart! We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful mountains, stream, and fall colors! It was just perfect…we are experienced riders with a group that weren’t and he was kind enough to tell us to hang back and trot/canter up to the group in certain areas. Horses were lovely and he paired them well with the riders. Great for all levels of experience, a serious must-do if visiting North Georgia!!!
We did a horseback riding tour with a group of 11. One member of our family is over 6ft tall and was weight restricted for 3 other places we called, but Blanche Manor happily accommodated us. Our guide was very helpful, friendly, and patient. He was an awesome guide and we had an amazing experience. We saw deer, did a faster trot, went in the creek, uphill, downhill and took breathtaking pics with the Carolina and Georgia mountains in the background!
We had such a beautiful and fun experience with our guide, Melanie, her daughter, and horses Willow and Bella. I am a first-time rider and when I was freaking out, unsure that I would be able to participate in the ride at all, Melanie coached me through my anxiety and guided us on a wonderful hour ride through the trail. My horse, Willow was gentle with me and could intuit how I was feeling throughout the ride. All of the animals we saw on the property were amazing, including the other horses, alpacas, goats, and even some deer and bucks who paid us a visit along the trail. We will definitely be returning. We went on a two hour horseback ride for my daughter's birthday and had a great time. We've done numerous rides with different stables across the southeast and this was one of the best riding experiences. Our guide was Melany along with her daughter. Melany was engaging, safe and attentive and most importantly made the ride fun. She was really good at evaluating our skills and allowing us to have a real adventure with a creek crossing, trotting and cantering. We'll definitely return.
My husband and I did a 2 hour private ride and it was amazing. The guide was fun and knowledgeable. She paired us perfectly with horses who were suited to our riding levels and let us do some fast pace running when it was safe to do so. We had a blast and can't wait to go back!
