I live in the middle or the Fox hunt section.. so naturally, I love the woods and dont ask me any questions, and you won't get disappointed.

Located 8 minutes from the I-10 exit, I visited and hikes the 1.3 mile path around the lake to stretch my legs while on my latest road trip.

The trail is very well maintained and well marked. Lots of benches.

There was a party setting up in the large shelter while I was there. I am sure a good time was had by all.

One of our favorite places as a family. Even when we moved to West Virginia we drove back every June for my daughter's birthday. She's now a mom and her kids celebrated their birthdays in the same place. Took them on their first camping trip this year. Needles to say, Krul is a family place for us.

The state forest here is the best in North western Florida. There is plenty of hiking and places to picnic and play in the water. Our family loves to escape up here from busy Pensacola. The trails are not too difficult to hike. It's more of a casual walk through the forest.
