Julie and her husband bought this place 2 years ago and have not taken the time to fix the website to tell potential guests that family reunions are NOT welcome. Any gathering of 3 or more is considered a party and not welcome. Booking of more then one unit ior rv site is considered a "group" and not welcome..

I never had a chance to book anything or stay here because she said "Goodluck" and hung up..

Super easy location close to Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. Lots of space between sites, very clean facilities and friendly service. If you need extras like a pool, and all the frills this might not be your spot but if you want a simple small rv park then don't miss this. There is some hwy noise but not enough to ruin a stay. Lastly.... The views are stunning.

Overall, our family enjoyed our stay. We reserved a campsite for our 31' travel trailer at the end of May. The location was beautiful and though it was right off of the highway, we felt very safe and the campground was quiet. The staff were very friendly, however, it was difficult to access them since the office was usually closed and unless you saw them working out in the campground you didn't know where to go to find someone. The grounds were very well kept, clean laundry, shower, bathroom facilities. The only issue we had with the campsite was that there wasn't alot of gravel so when it rained our site got very muddy. RV rugs were not allowed so we ended up tracking alot of mud into our camper. Be sure to bring quarters for the laundry, there is no quarter machine and since the staff can be difficult to locate I didn't have an opportunity to ask if they have any to exchange. Close to Montrose and Black Canyons of the Gunnison National Park, easy access to these and highly recommend checking them out if you stay here!

This was by far one of the best sites we have camped at. The nice gentleman who owns it is so accommodating and welcoming. The tent sites are in a nice plush grassy area and have a fire pit, grill, picnic table, and a little covered area with a trash can. You can pull your car right up near the spot too. The views are STUNNING! And the bathrooms are so clean. My only recommendation is just make sure you have plenty of warm blankets. We were beginning of July and the night temp dropped to about 30. 1000% would camp here again though!
