About Campground

The campground is located between CO 145 and the San Miguel River about 0.4 miles downriver from the Beaver Creek Boat Ramp. There are three tent sites with tables and grills. Two parking areas will accommodate a few small RVs. A toilet and hand-carry boat launch is present. For more information, please contact the Uncompahgre Field Office. ADA Access: Facilities are ADA accessible

Directions

From Placerville (Jct CO 145 & CO 62), go west 10.5 miles. Entrance is between MM 94 & 95, and is on the left (south). From Norwood, go east on CO145 about 5.5 miles. Entrance is on the right (south).

Great place to camp out for a night or a few nights. No cell service has vault toilets level spots

There are three overnight parking locations for RVs, plus a boat launch area and a public restroom. All camp sites have a good view of the San Miguel River. No fees or reservations. First come, first serve.

Nice quiet campground, but it has a long term camper set up in the most recessed area, and its evident they have been there quite a while.
