This recreation area is part of Beech Fork Lake
A hidden gem on the edge of WV! We just discovered this lake a couple of weeks ago and have been back several times already. A great place to kayak or boat and there's also a small beach for you to swim.
The water is a little on the brown side so don't expect crystal clear water. But seeing the wildlife more than makes up for it.
Beautiful and relaxing. No life guard on duty for the swimming area. Awesome fishing near the Marina. Great place to cook out as well.
