From Sierraville: Drive 11 miles south on Hwy 89 to Little Truckee Summit. Drive 6 miles east of Little Truckee Summit on Cottonwood Creek Road.
From Truckee: Drive 17 miles north on Hwy 89 to Little Truckee Summit. Drive 6 miles east of Little Truckee Summit on Cottonwood Creek Road.
Nice area to camp. We camped at the group site. The bathrooms are not flushable, so they can get pretty bad. There's a pump you can get fresh water. The Lake Alpine Lodge is only a few mins away.
