My wife made me cancel the reservation I made for other campground and she did the reservation with her requirements: tall trees , not so hot, water nearby, electricity outlet, running water, walking trails. This campground checked all her requirements. We had fantastic 3 nights in the campground with our site looking over the Gualala River.

Our 7 years old had so much fun that he forgot to open his toy bag he noticed only after we came back home. Awesome time!

Pure magic in all ways. Camping surrounded by redwoods and next to a slow moving river, toads singing you to sleep at night. Perfection! And just the right size, easy to walk the entire property, nothing is too far away but still a nice amount of space between you and your neighbors. My daughter loved the playground and riding her bike along the road and trails plus of course, floating in the river. It was our first time and I've already booked for next year. I grew up in Northern California and if you're visiting and looking for peak NoCal Riparian & Redwood beauty, look no further. Wonderful staff, very helpful and welcoming. Bonus, I got a great Banana Slug pin for my collection from the store. If they have room, book it, don't even question yourself.

Like rolling into Endor! Amazing stay at this campground tucked into the woods, yet minutes away from the beach. Warm, friendly staff. Bathrooms and showers well stocked and maintained. Campsites are generous and separated by ferns, not fences! BONUS: cafe trailer ready to serve all your specialty coffees and bagels! Not cheap, but an unexpected treat. Draw backs are few. Sites near river are the only ones to get lots of daylight (if concerned about solar). Only water and electric but dumps are easy to access and bathrooms make it an non-issue for small tanks or tent campers. Read complaints about mosquitoes but we didn’t really need much more than non-deet spray here and there (late May). Favorite place yet.

What a little piece of heaven!!! I absolutely loved my 2 night stay here in a tent. The grounds are so well kept, bathrooms are clean, amazing coffee cart open in the morning, and sites right by the river. I’m obsessed and will definitely be back!
