My wife and I were invited to hang out with some family that had an RV spot
here about 2 years ago. We fell in love with the campgrounds and the family that runs it. So much that it inspired us to get our own RV and boat and bring both straight out to Beachcombers. We have made many amazing memories here and look forward to making many more. Carlton is always available we you need a helping hand and if he isn't someone else here at the campgrounds is. Carlton goes the extra mile to make sure Beachcombers is welcoming to everyone, family friendly and safe also. I highly recommend this camp ground whether you have a large family with kiddos or just adults, either way you will not regret staying here.
A great place to get away with beautiful scenery this year 2023 the water was a little low! Friendly people beautiful picnic areas.
I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay with Carlton at the Beachcomber. We wanted to go tent camping but got rained out and he fixed us up in a hurry. Super nice…super helpful… super guy….. highly recommend renting a cabin for the weekend and enjoying the beautiful sunsets over the water. We will be back.
We do an annual girls only camping trip every year. This year my sister came across Beachcomber Park and boy are we glad she did. Carlton is the most accommodating host/owner we've ever had anywhere we've stayed. From providing last minute kayaking paddles ( because i forgot 2 sets) to taping the ones I did remember together so we could use our kayaks. To providing us immediate safe shelter (we where tent camping) when a bad storm hit. Before the storm hit he made sure we had water/electricity and anything else at our campsite (overlooking the water). The facilities where so so clean!! The restrooms, laundry room, and property where very clean!! The cabin (The Bluebonnet) was absolutely perfect! It was clean and had everything that you need ( just bring food/drinks). The lake was so nice for kayaking, swimming and fishing. Also everybody staying there was so nice. We highly recommend Beachcomber and we will definitely be back!!

I took my 19 yr old daughter there for her first tent camping experience; wanted the backup of a cabin in the event of nasty November weather. You could say we wanted to “camp light.” Reviews prompted me to call Carlton for more info. Just like the reviews say, he was very welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable about everything we might do or need. Carlton was absolutely awesome on phone and in person. He went out of his way to make our Father/Daughter camping a success. It couldn’t have been to profit off us as we hardly spent anything. I deduce that Carlton is just a friendly and interesting man who likes helping folks enjoy the wonderful area. We caught plenty of fish, enjoyed campfires, and memorable time. Thank You Carlton! God bless you and yours.
