Had a wonderful family getaway at Basswood which happens to be in a great location. Peaceful, accessible with multiple accommodations. We stayed in a budget cabin but was still impressed by the service of staff. They have awesome pizza and deliver it right to your site 👍
Anyone who talk’s negatively about this place, are asleep at the wheel. Compare the amenities and staff to other parks, hands down the best around these parts! 24/7 bathe house and laundry. I even used the pool at 4 am and nobody complained. I love Basswood and anyone who bags on it, IS A GRUMPY OLE BAG!

I have been here twice so far.
First year was phenomenal! No issues. Second year, they had a bathroom out of order and that meant you had to walk a bit further if you didnt have one in your cabin or closer to your area. Not too big of a deal. We also had a problem with our cabin and the management DID properly (not exactly quickly) take care of it and get us a refund for the trouble. We still were able to hang out with our friends also staying at the camp. We had a great time other than the main issue that was resolved. Overall excited to be back next year. Thank you Frank from management for resolving issue and to the staff who were very kind through the process.
This place has all kinds of things to do. Nice cabins, hotels suites, tent sites and rv sites. Themed weekends through the season. The staff is very helpful and great to deal with.
One night stay in a Jacuzzi hotel/motel room. Nice size King bed. There's a mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot, & clean linens. Nice private patio & we could see one of the many lakes from there. However, the furniture in our room is run down a bit. There was a (piece) missing out of the jacuzzi, dirt on the bathroom light switch, holes in the wall-not even patched, holes in the wall -they tried to patch, & the pizza machine wasn't working. We bought 2 cans of Pringles, a Hershey Bar, & Beef Jerky from their store at the resort (check in area) & it cost $36.00. Our room plus taxes for one night was $230.00. The room we stayed in is in need of tender loving care. The location is great, beautiful lakes, & nice patio with a great view, BUT it wasn't worth $230.00. Not sure if we'll be back??
