A nice little hidden gem. I recommend this place if you want to get away for a bit without the crowds of bigger parks nearby.
This is a campground, yet there are so many trucks parked here with trailers that there is no room for camping!
Great place for the local boaters to put in and enjoy the river. I would not recommend it for tourists.
Check with locals about boat launch (rustic, not improved). Spring floods can rearrange gravel bar to the point that only 4WD trucks will get you in and out. Large camping area with generally solid footing for heavier vehicles. Tight turns between end of state maintained road and river.
