Very nice place. Grass to the water. Clean and well maintained. We stayed only one night in the middle of the week and it was not full at all. Quiet, people were respectful. Showers were a bit dated and the lights didn't work but it's nice to have hot water when you're traveling. Would definitely like to come back here for an extended stay.

Nice place to camp that is close to KC. The park is well maintained with many of the sites being shaded and pretty level. Many new trees have been planted that will help in the years ahead. The kids enjoyed the playground, riding bikes and scooters on the path and playing in the lake. The only negative is the showers could use some work. Many needed repairs such as new shower heads, hooks, etc. Weekends are very busy as it is usually full but week days are quiet and relaxing.

We are loving this campground. Huge open spaces and a great paved bike path. We look forward to coming here again.
