Baker Hot Springs bubbles to the surface at 180 degrees Fahrenheit. A small trench carries the water a few hundred feet to a series of 3 small concrete pools.
For being out in the middle of the desert to stop and refresh yourself after hunting arrowheads on a hot day I give this place a 4 out of 5. The water's clean the roads good a lot of privacy it was just nice being there. This time of year don't worry @ checking the water temperature, run and dive in, 100% refreshing.
We are enjoying our camp site #18. All of the sites look great and very private!
Reservoir is probably best and most kid friendly place to learn fishing. Just put a night crawler on and kids and I caught so many little catfishes. Even when it was windy, it wasn’t so bad just staying on the shore to fish.
I've always loved this tucked away and peaceful reservoir. Never too crowded. The area below the dam is absolutely beautiful! Big trees, a stream, picnic areas. Worth going up for the day and not too far away from town.
