The park is located six miles north of Magnolia on Logoly Road (County Road 47) just off U.S. Highway 79 near the McNeil highway junction
Cool little state park, really nice folks there, nice trails with springs. Dont go when its real dry or you will miss the springs. The vistors center is 1st of its kind, I believe completely energy independent. Like most state parks it really could benefit from some volunteers.
What a great State Park! We loved the educational part of the visitor center, what an awesome hands on for both kids & adults. The gift shop was filled with much needed drinks after a great walk through the trails. There are plenty of picnic tables for grabbing a bite to eat & a playground kids to play. What a wonderful place to spend outdoors!
