It’s the best Dispersed campground!
There is a creek ,it’s a beautiful scenery
Place had so much trash and food waste that attracted a lot of flies. 2 other families were having a picnic while blasting music too loudly. I noticed they left trash behind as well. Decided not to camp there because of what wildlife may be attracted by the dog food and food scraps left behind by other users of this campground. PEOPLE, PLEASE PICK UP AFTER YOURSELF. IT IS NOT THAT HARD!
Our family's getaway. MY 2 siblings and all of our kids and dogs go camping at least once a month to Verde Campground.
Pretty and peaceful place to hike, fish, and be with family. The water was cool enough to play in and get rented from the heat. The river itself was muddy and not clear. Tons of crawdads!! Fun to catch/release by hand!
