Located next to Eagle Creek, the area is ideal for camping, picnicking, fishing and wildlife viewing. It is a quiet, remote site with lots of shade provided by sycamore and cottonwood trees along with pinyon and juniper trees.
Directions from Clifton: Honeymoon Campground is 50 miles NW of Clifton, via US Highway 191 and Forest Road 217.
Love camping here, it has such beautiful weather, the creek is right next to the camp. It's got bathrooms.
4 sites . first come , first serve. Bathrooms. Creek. Pack out what you bring in. There can be bears and cougars. Deer everywhere. Great trails.no wifi, no internet....perfect place to escape to.
