(2 large cannons at this corner). -- BOTH: Follow Imperial Dam Rd. West (go past the gate with the Huey helicopter on display) approx. 5.5 miles and turn right into gate. Turn left at A Street, across from the gas station. You'll see the campground and signs a block down. Pull into a marked RV parking lot on the right, which is next to the dump. The campground office is across the street from the dump.
I was not allowed to stay at this FamCamp as I had a composting dry toilet and I have no holding tank because of it .. so I did not meet their requirements .. Furnace, hot water .. 20 gals onboard .. shower, stove, etc. I have been to numerous FamCamps .. this is the only one so far that won't allow dry composting toilets ... somebody better update these folks on what the world is doing. I choose a dry composing toilet so as to keep the enviroment and campsites clean ..
Nice rv park with lots of activities and things to do. But it's very far from downtown Yuma. It's a good thing that they have a commissary on base and a gas station, even though it doesn't sell diesel.
