Very clean campground.
Not a lot of ORV noise, riders were considerate of non riders.
A nice little area for a small picnic for some family time out in the forest. There are some picnic tables, a public bathroom, and all next to a small stream. Its a really beautiful spot, but other than that, that's about it. Maybe nice to do small camping, but for hiking trails, you might want to go further up the road. Requires a Discover Pass.
Love this camping and recreation area. Have frequently used this facility since the 1980s. The improvements made are very evident. We can actually see where some of our discover pass dollars are spent. Atv friendly, riders are mostly courteous to non atv users when traveling through camping areas.
Had fun with my family would love to go again had fun riding the side by side trails and going up to eagles nest the views are amazing had great accessibility for Boondocking and has a great creek to look at and enjoy great to see all the trails One thing I can say is you can get lost up there if you don’t have maps to look at depending on if you’re new to going there it is very dusty when riding so I would suggest having windshields on side-by-side or whatever vehicle you’re going up in there with
