I don’t usually like to put bad reviews but I think it is not fair for others to book a place just by seeing several good images and then bingo… surprise! First the owner was very friendly, big thanks. Now the place: Please don’t trust pictures. The place is really small and it is not clean, full of dead insects, spider webs, the patio’s not clean, rusted windows, super old furnitures and very outdated kitchen. The sheeting are quite dirty and they stink. appliances are quite old and there are no regulations on smoking ( weed) or loud noise. In general don’t expect you are going into the heaven :)
People were friendly. Photos are not current. Don't think there's sufficient winter heat in#5, (and no way to block outside air from AC?) but it didn't get cold till our last night there, so we didn't ask for assistance. View is beautiful, and it's nice to have a full kitchen and grill.
#8 was a very cozy and quaint cottage. It looked recently renovated. Our dog loved the fenced yard and eating the grass. She has very little experience with grass as she has lived most of her life in the desert. If you ever find yourself in Clear Lake you'll find the Blue Fish Cove Resort a very comfortable, relaxing place to stay. It was fun watching Ohio State beat up Wisconsin while glancing out at the lakes splendor.
This place is right next to the water which is great but upon arriving the tables and chairs outside had bird feces on them to the point they looked like they hadn't been washed in months. There were cobwebs everywhere like nobody has stayed there for awhile. There was left over food in the microwave from the previous person and still coffee in the coffee pot and filter. I would never recommend this place to anyone or stay here ever again. She charged us 400 for 2 nights and we only stayed one because it was so bad I couldn't stay another night. Don't sleep on the pull out bed unless you want the worst night sleep of your life.
The kitchen was a little gross, insidcrye the cabinets, Inside the fridge, And all the utensils(pots & pans),j e that was pretty dirty, apparently. They're supposed to clean your own kitchen supplies for the next gas that come in. And if you don't then it's messy, but other than not, everything was great, nobody on site tho
