Campsite: New York City North-Newburgh KOA
Beautiful wooden campground, excellent professor and courteous staff. Level gravel site. Good WI-FI. Had a severe thunderstorm liost power. Live wires blocked entrance. They were on top of it immediately keeping us informed throughout. Over 30,000 people lost power and they got us up and running, Even after a truck knocked down a power pole the next morning. Job well done.
Campsite: Limehurst Lake
Beautifusmall t campground with pond and .8 mile walking path We stayed in a premium site looking at pond, Off from the crowd. Concrete pad, paved patio, grill (clean) with fireplace. Good WI-FI. Verizon worked in park sketchy outside of park. . Owners (Lisa) very nice, grounds well maintained. Note premium sites MUCH different than regular site. See map.
Small town not much to do. Montpelier with drive to see Capitol building. Bragg Farm Sugar House a must. Very cute country store with reasonable prices and great ice cream ( (maple chocolate swirl).
