Pretty much go here every year now. We ended up going a little earlier this year (June 26th) The trail was good for the first 3/4 of the way then we stumbled into loads of snow and lost the trail every now & then. Not many spots to camp due to the snow but the entrance of the lake was somewhat clear. Me and my buddies didn't know at the time but when we got back we heard it was 115 degrees all over the state, which would explain why our necks were scorched and half the snow melted in 3 days. Overall experience was 10/10
