I had previously rated Hank's 5 star. However, after our May 2023 stay, I was happy to see some progress. Dock still laying on ramp making it difficult to launch without damaging the boat. Hope they don't prematurely end the season early. Some of the best camping and fishing are October and November.

Used to be a fantastic place to camp and enjoy the woods. Now it's basically a good ramp. The Corp and Park Service let it fall apart like Harvey Creek Recreation Area. Looks like Hank's Creek is next. They have started extending the closed season and are slow to make repairs.
