Motel is super dated, but clean. In a weird way it ads to my nostalgia since I'm getting older. Restaurant has a fairly basic menu with good food (not great, but good). Now you've heard about the milkshakes...well.... they're not that good, because they're awesome. They are reminiscent of the shakes I used to get in the 70's and 80's at a local restaurant where I grew up. As a package the place has a ton of character and I recommend the trip. Short trip to some awesome adventures such as the Alvord, Steens, hot springs and other cool spots.
