We have been to this area many times but always stay a bit closer Acadia NP. Never again now that we’ve found this beautiful spot! Sites (pull through) are large and staggered so you are not on top of one another. We are here late in the season so things are fairly quiet but it seems like it’s probably a very fun and busy place in season. Staff is friendly and helpful and the lobsters that you can but onsite are an added bonus. Park is close enough to Acadia and Ellsworth that it’s convenient to everything.
