We loved our stay there. Campsites were clean. There are a lot of places to walk and enjoy the bunnies,quail,and many other creatures. We had a bird feeder out and were very entertained. However, seeds on the ground is not allowed.

The drive to the water wasn't long. You will get stuck in the sand without 4X4. Lot's of campers beside the water. Campground has electricity and water. Dump stations are close by.

We did not know this park was in Texas. We enjoyed our stay very much! Because it is a Texas State Park, we did not have to have a Texas fishing license. I enjoyed fishing,even if I didn't catch anything. The bathrooms were very clean. The park was well kept. Can wait to go again.
