Campsite: Douglas City Campground

BLM campground located on the Trinity river. $10 per night /$5 night with America National Parks pass or Senior Agency card.

There are water spigots throughout camp, multiple dumpsters, 2 flushing toilet buildings and a locking door hot shower building (yay!)

Each spot has a picnic table and firepit/grill combo with a bear lock box. So many beaches right next to camp to enjoy. Kids were floating the river from one side to the other around the camp.

Grounds are clean, the whole camp is paved for driving, many can handle bigger RVs up to 35' or so.

Overall a great find! I updated the location as this is NOT in the adjacent trailer park.

Campsite: Black Dragon Pictograph Panel Dispersed

Intriguing pictographs that I have not seen anywhere like this before. The canyon is beautiful and easy to access from I-70 when the cattle gate is open. Otherwise, a scenic few miles down UT24 to make a loop under freeway or could opt for a way longer UTV trip from Cottonwood Wash rd. There is Parking lot at trailhead with no facilities parking lot is less than a mile to pictographs. The whole Canyon is awesome to explore on foot.

PLEASE do not litter or go off route in a vehicle. Let's keep this open for everyone.

Campsite: Tomsich Butte TH

Beautiful place to camp near the Muddy River. Many use this camp to float the river in high snow pack years.

Very remote, take everything you need and be prepared with tools, tires, etc as the roads to get here can be a bit rough. Doable roads in SUV or higher clearance cars.

Campsite: Spanish Fork - Scofield Recreation Area

Beautiful Reservoir that has two state park campgrounds on it. Fishing for trout, wipers, and muskie with a valid Utah fishing license. There is a motorized boat launch at the state park with a fee.

The camping is mostly tent sites, with a group site, as well as some RV sites with dry camp or full hook-ups (current: nightly $20 dry/tent to $35 full hookup). I recommend going to the website and reserving online.

There are bathrooms with showers on site with a fish cleaning station.

Paddleboarding, kayaks, etc, all are great on this reservoir.

Please cleanup any refuse you make or find. Keep this local place beautiful.
