Remote for a NP. Good swimming in the Green River. Nice campground with large trees for shade. Amusing to watch the 100 people a day that have float permits that put in here. A famous historical spot.

This is 5 stars for just the type of place we like. Lonely and way way out among the stars. Here we are on memorial day weekend and not another soul in sight. Free too. Nice bathroom, fully stocked and door not locked. Although it says its a picnic site, camping up to 14 days is allowed. But you have to love grassland prairie and stars to really have a reason to come here. And oh yes, the stars are magnificent. Thank you National Forest Service!
