Campsite: Cody KOA

Love the Cody KOA, but one complaint is that guests aren't quiet after 10 pm. People are still being loud and shouting as if no one can hear their families' dirty laundry. Bring ear plugs for any light sleeper.

The pancake breakfast was so yummy. The pancakes were the best I've ever had, and I'm a culinary trained chef. Bring cash for extra breakfast items. Best price for a full breakfast.

I'm so happy they have a pool, but the kids weren't supervised while the parents ignored the kids or wasn't even in the area while other adults are trying to find a corner to enjoy the pool no kid respected boundaries. The hot tub was occupied by the teens and toddlers. Kids staying in the hot water for way longer then even adults should stay. Does anyone know what hot tubs do to the reproductive system? Just saying these poor kids may never be a natural parent (just saying). On the other hand maybe it's also a good thing they won't reproduce if their own family doesn't have the god-given common sense to watch their kids. Either way it's just sad how parents parent these days. Glad my parent cared about my safety and well being.

Over all Cody KOA was great.

Campsite: Douglas KOA

Management seems stretched thin and when you pay over $80 for a cabin that doesn't have water or restrooms you expect the wifi and TV to work. Getting the water and having to walk 150 feet to the nearest bathroom is doable. The pool closed at 7pm others close at 10pm, because when you are out camping and seeing the scenery you still want to come back to the KOA and relax and enjoy the amenities like a refreshing dip in the pool. Nice front desk and staff, but when you ask about the issues with TV or WiFi they openly complain like you are ruining their day. Not a good feeling to complain in the first place, but to have it thrown in your face just add the cherry on top.

The facilities and grounds were OK, and the bathrooms were decent. The ac unit and ceiling fan had a hard time keeping the cabin cooled. In fact the ac unit wasn't even turned on until we arrived around 5pm. We paid for the cabin ahead of time and they could have turned it on so we didn't have to suffer all night trying to sleep. It's the little things like that make you appreciate the space. Not worth $80 per night. I want a partial return for our troubles.
