Nice, well-maintained facility. Hosts Walt and Roxanne are friendly and helpful. Very sparingly used, since no hookups. Tent and trailer/mobile spaces. Probably 50 total sites, plus adjoining group sites. But, and this is a big but, Quemado lake is dying. Down about 20 feet. No intake. Many dead fish. Lake stunk badly. Our friends went to kyack and were disgusted by the conditions; I tried fishing with same results. Biologists trying to determine solution. If you are going for the lake, forget it for the near term.
