Campsite: Dispersed Camping on Mud Creek Road

We went there right after a snow storm in early October, so we didn't camp. The road was very muddy on the surface, but solid underneath. Locals said there was good fishing in the lake and there was a single pit toilet, as the only facility. If you were looking for an out of the way, scenic, quiet place to camp or fish and you didn't need any facilities, if would be great. We saw some RV trailers nearby, so the road was usually good enough that you could also "boondock" with an RV nearby.

Campsite: Fishlake National Forest Adelaide Recreation Site

Relatively large USFS campground with lots of trees. There are pit toilets and drinking water taps, but no RV hookups. There is a campground host and the USFS charges pretty steep fees for the camping. Reservations can and should be made well in advance as it appears quite full.
