Campsite: Thousand Trails Natchez Trace

Absolutely beautiful park, good washer and dryer with credit card payment. Lodge game room is a little run down, could use a refresh. We loved the dog park and mini-putt. Customer service was friendly and top-notch. We had a change in plans and they worked with us to let us stay an extra night. Wish we could have stayed longer. Verizon had barely 1 bar of signal, but with our cell booster we were able to get calls and pictures. Excellent Starlink service. Easy navigation with our 40' Class A. Incredible value. Makes me glad to be a Thousand Trails Member.

Campsite: Government Canyon State Natural Area

Good family hike for family with kids from 7 year old to 13 years old. Did Dino tracks and the overlook. Total miles were 6.7 and walking time was 3 hours. Stopped at tracks and had picnic. Beautiful hike. Overlook has no rail, so definitely cautious with kids.

Campsite: Maverick Ranch RV Park

The best stay of our trip so far. Nice guests, beautiful scenery. Campsites are large and flat. Pool was amazing and the trails surrounding the camp provided some of the best running I’ve enjoyed. Spots fill up fast so book early.

Campsite: BJs Rv Park

Clean little park. Full hookups. Shauna was a huge help, from our late arrival to our late departure, to helping us get packages to letting us in on the best places to eat. Definitely one of the best, most affordable places to stay for seeing Big Bend. Mostly Newmar Coaches when we were there, so despite the affordability it attracts a good crowd.
