There are areas where there's a few campsites that are located closer together. Benefit of these sites is that there are restrooms and the river is close to most fee camping areas and is calm enough to dip your toes in. Then there are also a few dispersed camping areas. There's my favorite site where it's far enough from the main road that you don't really see people driving by. The road can be busy since there's a trail head at the end of the road. Turning around there can be rather difficult because it is often over flowing with vehicles. There are also dispersed camp sites closer to the road which I would not recommend for families with small children or dogs, just cause of the road being busy. Overall, this is where we prefer to camp in the county if it's not already taken cause all sites are first come first serve.
