Campsite: Camp 5 Motorized Trailhead

Camp 5 trailhead camped overnight. The area was mowed and plenty space available free!

We drove the camp 5 trail all the way though and out. It was intense. We got in the evening in flash flood rains. We camped on the trail stranded for half a day. The trail is doable in a slightly lifted 3in. With 33in tires on a 5th gen 4Runner and a 2.5in leveled Lexus GX460.

No winch was needed but it was sketchy intense! Any rain in the area turns dirt to peanut butter mud slick and sticky thick. Nearly stopped us completely!

Campsite: Tigerton OHV Park

Great place to explore, with many tight turning wooded, rocky and of course the right time of season muddy challenges along the Embarrass River. A place you can spend two days traversing. Campgrounds look nice too.

We did a day trip from twin cities!

$20 worth the fun!
