I am from MN and recently took a road trip of CO! Sapinero was one of our stops. I am so happy it was! I truly enjoyed my time there and it was one of my favorite places to stay in CO! I stayed in the loft above the lodge. I was blown away by the beautiful views from our loft and all over the campground. The loft was spacious, clean and comfortable! I felt at home and enjoyed it! I also liked how the 2nd bed was almost in its own bedroom and away from the other area. The bedding was clean and comfy - even the comforters are washed! I enjoyed having breakfast on the deck and loved how friendly people were who came up to the lodge. The lodge is cute with bathrooms and an awesome game room. And my favorite part was the patio area. What a perfect place to sit outside and enjoy. There are also fun little cabins and every camp site has a fabulous view. I also had the opportunity to go down and be on the water! Beauty all around! So many great things to see and do around the campground! And the owners and workers were great! They have worked hard to fix up this unique campground and are very attentive and welcoming to their guests. I would definitely stay here again and hope to make it back!
