The largest (and probably the only) walkable field of salt in the world. Note, if you are traveling from Wendover - you MUST take turn to Bonneville Salt Flats Raceway. The eastbound Rest Area stop is not super spectacular and does NOT have access to the salt field. Getting to the north side of the road will add another hour to your trip (but that is still worth it).
