Campsite: Cauldron Linn BLM Dispersed
Such a cool experience! Lots of fire ants and a looong drive on some easy dirt roads. You will see some beautiful farmland and then be rewarded with a great view of the falls it blm down near the cauldron so get ready for an adventure. The hill going down In looks knarly and suggests 4x4 but I imagine only when wet. I made it no problem in my fwd dodge minivan
Campsite: Kanab Creek / Greenhalgh Trail
Gorgeous flowers everywhere in June and it does take you to some of the best views of kanab and surrounding area. Power through the deep sand after the switchbacks.. you have not gotten to the best part….You will come to a large piece of whitish sandstone sort of a triangle cut out you can sit in for some morning shade… gorgeous but keep going the reward is quite a bit higher! Wonderful trail and a great workout!Many lizards and caves and a creek at the beginning and the end will allow you to cool down about 4.6 miles out and back
