Really nice trail. Fairly easy but sandy near the top. No scrambling over rock that I can remember. The view at the top is wonderful.
Gorgeous flowers everywhere in June and it does take you to some of the best views of kanab and surrounding area. Power through the deep sand after the switchbacks.. you have not gotten to the best part….You will come to a large piece of whitish sandstone sort of a triangle cut out you can sit in for some morning shade… gorgeous but keep going the reward is quite a bit higher! Wonderful trail and a great workout! Many lizards and caves and a creek at the beginning and the end will allow you to cool down about 4.6 miles out and back
Very underrated trail. It has a gradual incline with fantastic views at the top! We were the only ones on the trail.
