I would highly recommend Ride Long Acres in Williamsburg, PA. They are top-notch! It was the perfect special way to celebrate our 26th anniversary last May, and having our grown children with us, made it even more special. Having ridden horses only a few times, I knew we would need instruction and guidance. Our daughter had gone to horse camp a few times as a young teen, but that was years ago as she is now 25. I went back again a little while later when my sister was visiting from Colorado and it was the highlight of her visit! Lucy and her daughter, Nora, did an absolutely superb job giving us instruction and tips to make our ride the most enjoyable. They make you feel very comfortable and safe. They are both very professional yet fun and their horse knowledge is quite exceptional. They even took some pictures and videos for us because they knew that was important to me 🙂. Our ride was perfect through beautiful meadows, wooded areas, and country sides. The horses are well taken care of and gave us all a beautiful, smooth ride. I would highly recommend Ride Long Acres and in fact, plan to go back every summer at least once because I have the pleasure of living just 10 minutes away.
