We stayed at Treasure Isle RV Park for 5 nights to visit the Hot Springs area. The staff at Treasure Isle were friendly, helpful and all around good people. Our site was a level pull-thru with a concrete pad and adjacent sitting area. The RV Park has a pool, one of the largest children's playgrounds I've ever seen in an RV Park, a nice fenced dog park to allow your pup off leash, and is in a quiet area close to Hot Springs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We stayed at Marquee on the Bay RV Resort for the first week of February. This park is conveniently situated between Houston and Galveston, making it a short drive to both locations, without paying the higher costs to stay in either of those locations. The park is surrounded on 3 sides by the beautiful bayou. All roads in the park are paved and every site has level cement parking and a cement pad. Plenty of room for our 45' coach and tow. Valerieann, the owner, is friendly, helpful and just an all around good person. Though many of the sites are occupied by semi/permanent folks, all the sites were orderly and the people were friendly and welcoming. We would highly recommend this RV Resort. Also recommend Top Water Grill and Pier 6 restaurants for great seafood and views. $6 a dozen raw gulf oysters at Pier 6 were delicious!
