Awesome little gem! We stayed at The Pads for two nights. It was quiet and convenient to Death Valley NP. We had no one around us which was awesome. Read the review about the history of the location by Aura Rea. So neat! There is zero cell service with VZ and TMobile. We loved the stars and quiet. For driving purposes it’s 11 miles down 190 once you take the left off of 127. Shortly after the 1000’ elevation sign. We also hiked around and found some curious plants. Just a tip, there is no lifeguard on duty. Lol! Enjoy your time!
