Reserved a day use area for a church event. The host told us upon arrival(Blue Gill) to not use the bathroom by our pavillion because it was “vandalized” and to use the next one up. However the next TWO up were either in extremely poor condition (clogged toilets or filthy) or out of toilet paper. When we tried to approach the host to even ask cor toilet paper, they were nowhere to be found, either at their camper or at the building. We had to leave and use a gas station bathroom a couple miles away!!

In addition, when we arrived (at 10am) the trash cans at iur pavillion were already nearly full.

To pay $75 to reserve a day use pavillion and $5/vehicle for an event, this is ubsurd. The least this area could do is provide toilet paper and emptied trash cans!! While we enjoy the privacy of Amity pavillions and beach areas, I cannot say that we will use this area in the future due to the unkept conditions and unavailability of hosts to address the concerns.
