This is a large shelter and a good one. On my visit there were a total of 6 people in the shelter, myself included. It had room for roughly 3 times as many. Well cared for and no issues with pests when I was there. There is a fee of $5 to stay and well worth it for the privy and trail maintenance provided by ye Green Mountain Club. Sunrise and sunset on Stratton Pond are breathtaking.
