I make a point to stop here every time on my way to Big Bend. "Rest Area" is an understatement, this is a beautiful public park funded by private donation. Amazing view up the river/canyon, super quiet and peaceful, beautiful sunsets. No toilets, there are trash cans, but be sure to secure your trash in a way that animals/wind won't spread it across the scenery.

The most friendly and welcoming RV community we've found across the US. In the 5 days we stayed here the RV park hosted 2 potlucks, daily happy hours, and even carpooled to Mexica for dinner one evening. We can't wait to come back next spring!
