What a great state park to visit! The ghost town is amazing, most of the buildings you can enter & look around, unlike others we've visited that are look but don't touch. Kids had a fun time looking around, lots of seating for those looking to rest in the heat. Several available restrooms and a large parking lot sweetened the deal! It's definitely worth going off the beaten path!!

This is an amazing campground if you like to rough it, but still want a restroom (compost toilets, no water) close by! It's just enough wilderness for us, it's a ways off the beaten path to find & appears to be closed late fall/winter due to snowfall...the campsites are spacious and there is a creek nearby... lots of trails and a large loop to walk around... 20 min to Leavenworth for supplies... one of our new family favorites!!
