The views are spectacular. The museum wasn't open (too early) when we stopped, but from peeking in the windows I want to come back and learn about the history of the area. No play ground, but there is a picnic area and a pet area. Restrooms were open.

Very nice, stayed a week, they allow pets with a deposit, refundable after inspection. This is not a luxury hotel and the price reflects that, but the rooms are clean and quiet and it's right downtown in walking distance to fast food, grocery store (Safeway) and two small shopping areas.
