Campsite: Hog Valley RV & Treehouse Resort
This is a MTB/Gravel/Cycling review of this RV Park.
First, full disclosure, i was able to get in this park due to my own mistakes by waiting too long to book in Bentonville. I didn't feel comfortable at other RV parks after looking at their websites...but this one was very different. Hog Valley is legit a nice park. Well maintained, professionally managed and staffed with amazing people. We were told at Check in that WIFI was dead to a catastrophic lighting strike that took out and melted alot of the wiring in the park. It all has to be replaced. So please know that you will need Starlink or a hotspot. There is no cable TV but enough over the Air to have some noise or relive some childhood shows like, Three's Company, The Jefferson's etc. LOL. The sites are dead level, perfect, all the hook ups are perfect. The staff is amazing, check in, easy and the amenities for families is second to none. A very, very nice RV Park.
OK, to the Cycling part....Hog Vally RV puts you less than 10 min away from Kessler MTB trails. A must hit if you like XC riding. Also only 12 min or so from Centennial park. Home of the UCI world championships. Also a must hit if you like Cross or XC.
Hog Valley puts you only 30 min or so from OZ trails in Bentonville, it was a super easy drive. I would stay here again for sure. This is a great park and despite their wifi issues, its a top notch park.
Campsite: Angels Camp RV Park
Found this park while looking for accommodations for the ASA Archery Tournament in Paris. I read some reviews and emailed the owners who by the way are very fast to respond and nice. This is a very nice park....some of the sites are tight but a lot of parks are tight so get over it. That isn't always a negative thing. Look at it this way, you get to meet your neighbors. We only stayed 4 nights and the 50 amp service was clean power, great full hookups. wifi worked great. There is a Church and car wash next door. Just out of town enough and just close to town for perfect. We'll be here again. Did I mention the owners are super awesome!
