Surrounding area is 5 star, campground would be also had the hosts been on site and available before 8pm each day. There was no toilet paper in the vault toilet near our site for 2 days. A lot of the trees have been cut down in this campground so there is a lot of sun exposure. There was no firewood for purchase on site, so we split our own from all of the downed trees and used the mulch from all of the chipper/shredder debris in the campground. A lot of brush piled up throughout waiting to be lit. I was really hopeful from previous reviews and pictures because the place looked like it had A LOT of shade. But that is not the case now. We reserved camp site 8 based off of a review on here that had a pic of the trees shading the site, now those trees are gone. See pics. Hoping the growth takes back off because this is a great location.
