If you start this trail near Gothic it is STRAIGHT UP for what seems like forever. Best cardio trail in the area. Beautiful wildflowers, meadows and vistas. Make sure your bring a lot of water and be in shape for this. Well worth it.

First, the good - Large, private campsites, well maintained. Reasonable, kiln-dried firewood, super nice staff and access to numerous trails right from the campground. The bad - NON working showers. Both were out for awhile, then the ADA shower was half working. If that gets fixed it is five stars.
