Campsite: Big Springs Grp. Area - Island Park

Absolutely beautiful little gem tucked away back behind Macks Inn a few miles. The road in is great. Any vehicle, including motorcycles, can make it. It is very much worth the time. The small cabin is especially fascinating, particularly considering the story behind it. There is a very nice picnic area right there too. Be sure to bring some change to feed the fish if the bridge. Fishing and swimming is not allowed here, BTW.

Campsite: Five Springs Falls Campground

Beautiful falls with a very nice, shady picnic spot at the trailhead. Good parking. Clean outhouse. This is a great visit on those sweltering summer afternoons. The hike up is a bit steep between the upper and lower falls. The upper falls are the ones to see as they are by far the grander of the two. Be careful if it just rained! The hike can get rather slippery in places.

Campsite: Bighorn National Forest Tie Flume Campground

This is a wonderful place, that like Deadsweed, has regular visitors of the moose variety. The fish in the stream are quite small, but still fun to go after. Very pleasant place.

Campsite: Sibley Lake

Very nice stop on your way over the Bighorns. Great place to stretch and go for a walk.

Campsite: Walmart - Gillette

This hands down the friendliest and most customer service oriented Wal Mart I have ever been to. Normally Wal Mart staff pushing the large blue bins around doing the shopping for the online orders are like robots, in the way, and a HUGE pain to in store shoppers. Here, they were courteous, friendly, helpful, moved for you, attentive.....wow!!!! It was SO SO SO refreshing.

Campsite: Cottonwood Creek Trailhead/campground

This is a so so campground. Very dry and uneven. It is kind of out of the way too. No shade and no water. The trail is a nice hike in the winter, however. Just watch out for snow covered ice on the trail in several areas.
