Always crowded, especially on holiday weekends. The road can get pretty washboarded and rough towards the end. There's a pit toilet and the trailhead is clearly marked. Also has a stock campground.

Beautiful campground. Was open thru October for hunting season with fees waived and toilets + bear boxes still available. Sign posted about hunting season. Watch for wildlife encounters and pack it all out. Awesome spot, take care of it.
