Campsite: Two Medicine Campground — Glacier National Park

We reserved a spot online that said it was large enough for two tents but our tents barely fit. There was a square spare lined with wood, presumably for tent space, but aside from that there was another very small area for an even smaller tent. Both tents were very close to the fire pit as well.

The views, however, were amazing! We were within walking distance to the lake and could easily see the mountain scenery.

We appreciated that the ranger came by each campsite to greet us and answer any questions we had as well.

The bathrooms are also pretty great!

Campsite: Middle Fork Campground

Overall a GREAT experience!

Camp site - We reserved our spot online and pictures didn’t do it justice! It was spacious enough for up to 4 vehicles and a total of 16 people. We only had two cars and tents and had plenty of space leftover for additional people. The site had two grills, a fire-pit with a grill attachment, and poles with hooks for lanterns or whatever you want to hang up. We were right next to a creek so it was pretty cold in the evening. There was a second site next to us but the layout for both sites had the picnic tables in the middle, so everyone’s tents were pretty far. Still spaced out though so you can barely hear any conversations from both campsites especially because of the creek.

Noise level: The creek was LOUD, so you may want to bring ear plugs if that’s not your thing. Sounds from wildlife was very low.

Amenities: There were single restrooms (total of 2) right next to our campsite since stayed at the first site off of the road. They were well maintained and clean despite it just being a single toilet with toilet paper available. There was hand sanitizer and a little glade air freshener in each restroom, I’m assuming from the camp host. There were also trash cans right next to the restroom.

Trails: There is so much to explore! There was a mini trail right in front of our campsite and we got to see a great view from higher up. There are many trails to explore!
